In order to write a script you have to follow a extremely persice format. in order to make this easier for a screen writer we used this program:

Curfew Script

This is a script that I have written using Celtex based on curfew the award winning short film. I wrote about the first two pages. By doing this I learnt how to structure a script and see how they are formatted. For example i put the transitions on the top right like how it would be laid out in an actual script.

Nightmare on Elm St script annotation

Below is an annotated script of the first two pages of the nightmare on elm street a classic film from the 80's. The opening scene has a lot of action going on within it so it is a good section to annotate because it relies on music and action rather than dialogue.I did these annotations to show the conventions of script writing for example the layout and how it is formatted e.g Scene heading, camera movements, action and so on.

Flash ‘Colouring book’

Script:

VO(voice over): Oh no, little Timmy’s got hold of a marker pen. My wall looks like a colouring book. What am I going to do?

(Sung to the tune of Queen’s Flash) Flash!

A-aaah!

Cleans up the impossible.

Wow, he’s really made a mess.

It’s a pain but we won’t stress.

In the hall.

He has drawn.

Overall.

On the wall.

Lots of scrawls.

But we can clean this u-u-up!

(Sung) Flash!

Cleans up the impossible.

o Catchy theme tune(fast moving maybe linking to cleaning quickly)

o Shows what the product does

o Use of comedic

o Nostalgic 80’sàappeals to the middle-aged people who are the ones usually cleaning.

o Upbeat and positive, it can remove your stains.

o Has connotation to being a hero as flash Gordon was a Hero.
